Speculation regarding a romantic relationship between BLACKPINK member Lisa and Thai actor Blue Pongtiwat Tangwancharoen has intensified following various international sightings. While the pair has been seen together in London and Los Angeles, rumors of a shared trip to Kyoto, Japan, emerged after fans noted synchronized social media posts from both individuals. Additionally, reports suggest they were photographed dining together in Thailand alongside Lisa’s mother, with some claims indicating Blue has been introduced to her family.

Public scrutiny has focused on comparisons between Lisa’s current sightings and her past relationship with Frédéric Arnault. Netizens have circulated images contrasting her time with Arnault, such as being seen in VIP airport lounges, against recent instances of her handling luggage alone while with Pongtiwat. These comparisons have sparked debate, with some users criticizing perceived lifestyle changes and others defending the artist, arguing that relationships should be based on emotion rather than wealth.

Amidst these discussions, some fans have expressed concern that the rumors could distract Lisa from upcoming music releases, while others have directed negative comments toward the actor’s professional status. In her documentary, ‘Always Lalisa’, Lisa previously addressed the difficulty of celebrity dating, noting it is a “taboo subject in K-pop culture” and emphasizing her need for privacy to protect her career.
