Liskeard Town Council has provided a £900 grant to the Liskeard & Looe Foodbank to support its relocation to a new property. The funds are designated for physical modifications, such as creating a welcome area and adjusting toilet facilities, as part of a larger £1,840 project.

The foodbank intends to move in the New Year to establish a ‘one-stop shop’ for food and support services. This move comes as the organization manages a ‘perfect storm’ of increasing service demand and declining donations, which has reduced food reserves from several months to approximately three months.
