Cultural activities in Tomelloso have centered on literary presentations. On October 22, the Casa de las Artes y las Letras scheduled a meeting for José Manuel Zuleta, a former military general and former chief of Queen Letizia’s Secretariat, to present his debut noir novel, ‘Viernes’. The thriller explores themes of corruption, terrorism, and historical vengeance.

Following this, the presentation of ‘Viernes’ was held at the same venue. During the event, Zuleta discussed his creative process and the novel’s themes of loyalty and human responsibility.

Other regional cultural activities included a lyrical recital in Villa de Mazo dedicated to zarzuela and Spanish music, and a presentation of ‘La alborada de la palabra. Relatos cortos y poéticos’ by Mª Victoria Gómez González in Dolores.
