The Stuttgarter Schriftstellerhaus has introduced a new event series titled ‘Stuttgart schreibt’ (Stuttgart Writes), representing its first significant public activity since 2019. Under a rejuvenated board, the initiative seeks to implement new formats within the local literary landscape.

The series commenced with a discussion titled ‘Fiese Krise – und die Literatur?’ (Nasty Crisis – and Literature?), featuring Nora Bossong and Simon Strauß. The event explored themes of social alienation and contemporary crises through keynote presentations and a sound collage.

Subsequent activities under the program have expanded to include diverse formats such as the ‘Alte Lieben’ writing workshop and a ‘Poetic Pharmacy’ session at the Ostend-Buchhandlung, where attendees received personalized poems.
