Lithuania has hosted various regional sports events focused on community integration, youth development, and cultural heritage.

In late September, the ‘Dzūkijos taurė 2026’ integrative football tournament was held in Simnas as part of the UEFA ‘Grassroots week’ to promote social inclusion. Concurrently, the Baltic Youth League (BYFL) U16 final was scheduled in Kaunas, featuring Be1 NFA and the Vilnius Football Academy.

By October, regional football continued with the ‘Rudens taurė 2026’ 6x6 tournament in Raseiniai, where the team ‘Kražantė’ secured the championship. Additionally, the first season of ‘ETNOLYGA’ concluded, an initiative by the Lithuanian Ethnosport Committee designed to reintegrate traditional Lithuanian rhythmic combat into schools through competition for students aged 14 to 19.
