Developments: 3. Liverpool has expressed interest in acquiring Brazilian winger Estevao Willian from Chelsea. Initially, Chelsea rejected an enquiry from Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes, stating the 19-year-old was not for sale. As the situation progressed, reports indicated that Liverpool attempted to intercept Chelsea’s efforts to secure a long-term contract for the player by contacting his representatives. While Chelsea values the attacker between £95m and £104m (€110m-€120m), the player has reportedly experienced limited playing time and potential unsettlement due to a reduced role on the pitch. Liverpool is reportedly monitoring Estevao as a potential offensive reinforcement, a move coinciding with the adaptation period of Bradley Barcola, whom Liverpool signed from Paris Saint-Germain for over €140 million. While both Liverpool and FC Barcelona are tracking the winger, Chelsea maintains they have no intention of selling the player, who remains under contract until 2033. ## Timeline ### 2026-09-25: Liverpool monitors Chelsea winger Estêvão amid Barcola adaptation Liverpool is monitoring Chelsea's young Brazilian talent Estêvão as a potential target, amid the ongoing adaptation period of summer signing Bradley Barcola at Anfield. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/liverpool-monitors-chelsea-winger-estvo-amid-barcola-adaptation ### 2026-09-17: Liverpool targets Chelsea winger Estevao in potential £100m move Liverpool is reportedly contacting Chelsea winger Estevao Willian's representatives to discourage him from signing a new contract with the Blues, amid a valuation exceeding £100m. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/liverpool-targets-chelsea-winger-estevao-in-potential-100m-move ### 2026-08-31: Chelsea rejects Liverpool enquiry for Estevao Willian Chelsea FC has turned down an enquiry from Liverpool FC regarding the transfer of Brazilian winger Estevao Willian, making it clear the 19-year-old is not for sale. 2 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/chelsea-rejects-liverpool-enquiry-for-estevao-willian --- Cite as: Liverpool interest in Estevao Willian.
