The community expressed concerns that the contamination threatens irrigation water for regional agriculture and local drinking-water wells. Additionally, villagers alleged that the farm owner may have ties to a municipal inspector in Štip, prompting calls for urgent inspections and potential criminal proceedings by the political party Levica.
