Initial efforts include support for the Pietro Mascagni State Conservatory of Music to secure its cultural role, the ‘Piccoli Ambasciatori della Mensa’ project to involve students in school catering, and the ‘Punto Digitale Facile’ service to assist citizens with online public administration. Following these educational and digital initiatives, the city launched ‘Urban Flow – Observe, Relate, Activate’. This pilot project, implemented by the association Cuore Liburnia Sociale in the Scopaia and Leccia neighborhoods, focuses on youth engagement to address nighttime disturbances. Instead of traditional repression, the program utilizes professional educators and an integrated urban security approach to build relationships with young people, with the goal of creating a model for city-wide expansion. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-29: Livorno launches Urban Flow pilot project for youth engagement Livorno has launched the ‘Urban Flow’ pilot project in the Scopaia and Leccia neighborhoods, using professional educators to manage nighttime youth gatherings through prevention rather than repression. 6 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/livorno-launches-urban-flow-pilot-project-for-youth-engagement ### 2026-10-19: Livorno community initiatives focus on education and digital services Livorno is implementing new community programs, including conservatory preservation efforts, a student-led school canteen initiative, and digital literacy support for citizens. 3 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/livorno-community-initiatives-focus-on-education-and-digital-services --- Cite as: Livorno community and youth engagement initiatives.
