Livorno football club is navigating internal disciplinary scrutiny and upcoming competitive challenges. The FIGC Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation into coach Cristiano Lucarelli following his criticism of public safety authorities regarding travel bans for supporters. Lucarelli questioned the consistency of security measures, stating, “If I am reborn I want to be either the questore or the prefect.” The inquiry is examining if these remarks violate the Code of Sports Justice regarding loyalty and probity.

Concurrently, the team is preparing for a Serie C Group B match against Guidonia Montecelio 1937 FC. Due to a dense schedule, Lucarelli has indicated that squad rotation may be necessary, with expected returns for players Bachini and Veseli to the central defense.
