The Lega Nazionale Dilettanti (LND) is organizing a technical forum titled ‘Il futuro in gioco’ to be held in Ferrara on October 23 and 24. The event focuses on the governance of amateur football and the development of young athletes.

A primary objective of the conference is to establish a strategic roadmap for grassroots football by strengthening the connection between local amateur clubs and professional leagues, specifically Lega Pro and Serie C. The discussions aim to facilitate dialogue between various football sectors, including regional committees, women’s football, and the Futsal Division.

Key participants include LND President Giancarlo Abete, Lega Pro President Matteo Marani, and Gianfranco Zola, who is expected to contribute to the discussions remotely. The initiative also seeks to enhance synergy with Club Italia to support youth talent pipelines, involving figures such as Maurizio Viscidi and Silvio Baldini, and utilizes the ‘Zola Reform’ as a framework for development.
