Local municipalities and regional institutions in Spain have conducted various ceremonies to recognize civic service, media achievements, and community contributions.

In Benicarló, the Local Police marked 150 years of service during the feast of Sant Miquel, honoring retired officers and citizens for exemplary service. Simultaneously, media entities received recognition, including Grupo de Comunicación La COMARCA, which was honored at the Grupo Social ONCE Aragón 2026 Solidarity Awards for its regional reporting.

In the Valencian region, municipalities held honors in observance of the 9 d’Octubre celebrations. Alcúdia de Crespins recognized individuals for land donations and bravery during a house fire, as well as local associations. The recognition also extends to the Association of Former Political Prisoners of Francoism, the Pro-Memòria Association, and the Centre Excursionista de Catalunya for their contributions to democratic memory and Catalan identity. In Pedreguer, the Vila de Pedreguer Honor Awards recognized Carles Mulet Grimalt for literary and pedagogical work, Luis Cortés Meseguer for architectural restoration, Cine Jayan for cultural promotion, and Consuelo García for her defense of liberties.
