Local initiatives in Poland have focused on cultural preservation and infrastructure improvements within public parks. Early efforts included community-driven cultural activities, such as workshops for traditional embroidery and culinary arts, alongside restoration projects like the attempt to return the ‘Górnik’ sculpture to its original location in Park Śląski.

Subsequent developments shifted toward physical revitalization and beautification projects. In the Strawczyn commune, a project valued at over 1.3 million PLN is underway to modernize a historic park with new lighting, mineral-surface paths, and small architecture. Similarly, in Kutno, the installation of light decorations funded by the civic budget has enhanced the attractiveness and perceived safety of the park by the Ochnia river.
