Various German and Austrian municipalities have announced upcoming community festivals and celebrations scheduled for late summer and early autumn 2026.

In Gladbeck, the ‘Umsonst & Draußen’ music event will celebrate a 60-year town twinning with Schwechat, Austria, on August 21. Amberg will host the Luitpoldhöhe district festival on September 12, supported by urban development funding. 

Further celebrations include the Heimat- und Soldatenfest in Stadtallendorf from September 4 to 7, which will feature amusement rides and a fireworks display.
