Local events in Greece during early October 2026 have necessitated various transportation adjustments.

On October 4, Athens tram services on Line 6 and Line 7 faced scheduled adjustments to accommodate the ‘Greece Race for the Cure 2026’ and the ‘RUN GREECE PEIRAIAS 2026’ road races.

By October 10, further logistical changes were scheduled. In the Municipality of Peneus, the 24th Panhellenic Torch Relay of Volunteer Blood Donors was set to take place. Additionally, in Patras, ten afternoon suburban railway services on the Agios Andreas – Rio – Agios Andreas line were cancelled due to traffic adjustments for the 5th Patras ‘Fanis Tsimigatos’ Half Marathon.
