Reports from various Italian municipalities indicate ongoing challenges regarding public utilities and sanitation. In Frascati, residents have protested construction delays by Acea on via Janari, noting that a water network repair project has caused noise, dust, and restricted access while remaining largely inactive. Similarly, in Cassino, local leadership has denounced Acea for unaddressed water leaks and unannounced service interruptions in several neighborhoods.

Sanitation concerns have also emerged in other regions. In Imola, residents in the Montericco district reported a rodent infestation, which locals attributed to inadequate waste management. In response to similar urban hygiene priorities, Marsala announced a restructuring of its waste collection service, reducing the frequency of organic and plastic pickups to better manage illegal dumping and peripheral cleaning.
