This includes the development of a full sequel, ‘Lollipop Chainsaw 2: Back2Back’, which is scheduled for a 2027 release on PlayStation 5. The sequel will feature protagonist Juliet Starling in a new setting called Jaredwood and will include updated gameplay mechanics. In addition to the video game sequel, the franchise is expanding into film and television. A live-action, R-rated action comedy prequel film is in development, focusing on Juliet Starling’s high school years during a zombie outbreak at San Romero High School.
