Sports organizations in the Lombardy region have received various forms of recognition and funding for their contributions to social cohesion and community support.

In mid-October, several clubs were honored for their achievements. ASD La Rete received an award from Fondazione Costruiamo il Futuro for its commitment to social inclusion and community support in Busto Garolfo. Additionally, the Lombardy Regional Council recognized gymnasts from ASD Nuova Ginfit for winning national titles.

By late October, Gruppo CAP, the public utility for Milan’s water services, announced the winners of its seventh “Valori in Campo 2026/2028” initiative. The program allocated 160,000 euros to support nine winning organizations across Lombardy. These projects focus on water resource protection, building an equitable future, and strengthening community ties, with specific emphasis on the inclusion of individuals with disabilities.
