Following the release of the reunion special on October 18th, significant updates have emerged regarding the relationships from the first season of ‘Love Is Blind: Netherlands’.

Mika and Jurriaan Schipper, the only couple to marry during the season, announced that they have since divorced. Jurriaan described the transition from their ‘love bubble’ to reality as difficult, noting that while their time together included much love and humor, they are no longer a couple. Mika attributed the split to differing expectations, stating she sought more contact while Jurriaan became more distant. Both participants expressed a desire to remain on good terms.

Regarding the fallout between Yasemin Kuskal and Miguel Garcia, Miguel addressed his decision not to marry Yasemin at the altar. Since the engagement, Miguel has reportedly been exploring a potential relationship with Elvira, another participant from the pods.
