The market value of LPBank Securities (LPS) shares held by Nguyen Xuan Thai and Nguyen Ngoc My Anh, children of Nguyen Duc Thuy, has experienced a significant decline following the stock’s debut on August 18. 

By early September, the combined holdings of the two shareholders had decreased by approximately 3,060 billion VND from their initial valuation. As of September 4, LPS shares closed at 23,750 VND, down from the debut price of 31,800 VND. 

By mid-September, the market price of LPS had further declined to 22,250 VND per share. At this level, Nguyen Xuan Thai’s individual holdings of over 190 million shares—representing approximately 15% of the company’s charter capital—were valued at more than 4,227 billion VND. Thai holds several leadership roles within his family’s business ecosystem, including serving on the Board of Directors for LPBank Securities and the Sacom Crypto Asset Exchange.
