Havan owner Luciano Hang has voiced opposition to a proposed Constitutional Amendment (PEC) aimed at ending the 6x1 work schedule in favor of a 5x2 model. 

During an inauguration in Caldas Novas, Hang characterized the initiative as “electoral fraud” designed to secure votes. He argued that the transition would increase labor costs for his company by roughly 15%, a burden he claims would be passed to consumers through price hikes of 10% to 15%. Hang warned that such increases could diminish workers' purchasing power and potentially drive more individuals toward informal labor. 

The proposal is set for a vote in the Senate's Constitution and Justice Commission, where it requires approval from three-fifths of senators across two rounds of voting to pass.
