Sources: 26. Developments: 6. The investigation into the death of Shiva Sharma, a 28-year-old businessman and owner of Angan Cafe, has reached a major milestone with the arrest of the primary suspects. Following an intensive search, the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (UPSTF) and Nagpur police apprehended fashion model Shraddha Dubey in Nagpur. She was arrested alongside her sister, Rashmi Dubey, and a driver identified as Danish. All three individuals had previously been subject to a 50,000 rupee reward for their capture. The case originated on October 9, when Sharma died after falling from the fourth floor of the Avadh Green Apartments in Lucknow. While Sharma’s mother, Ranjana Sharma, alleges her son was assaulted and thrown from the balcony, Shraddha Dubey has maintained her innocence, claiming, “I saw him jump from the balcony with my own eyes,” and suggesting Sharma committed suicide due to significant debts. The suspects have been transferred from Nagpur to Lucknow under a 72-hour transit remand and are being held at the Hazratganj police station for medical examinations and questioning. Allegations against the trio include murder, blackmail, and mental harassment. While the investigation continues, authorities have not officially confirmed the arrest of another named suspect, Aamir. Recent developments include the emergence of CCTV footage showing Sharma and Shraddha Dubey walking down stairs together holding hands, as well as footage of Dubey returning alone from a late-night party. Investigators are currently analyzing this footage and sending mobile devices for forensic examination to determine the circumstances leading to the fall. The failure to locate the suspects earlier resulted in disciplinary actions against several Lucknow police officials. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-24: Lucknow police investigate new CCTV footage in Shiva Sharma death case Police are analyzing new CCTV footage in the Lucknow case involving the death of businessman Shiva Sharma, who fell from a fourth-floor apartment.
