Speculation regarding new music from singer Luis Miguel has intensified following reports of his activity in a Los Angeles recording studio.

Initial rumors emerged after American producer Paul Jackson Jr. shared a photograph of Luis Miguel in a recording studio alongside sound engineer David Reitzas. Although the post was deleted shortly after circulating, the image fueled theories of a secret project, particularly as Reitzas previously worked with the singer on the 2017 album ‘México para siempre!’. Subsequent reports indicated increased interest as video footage and social media posts suggested the artist has been frequently visiting Westlake Recording Studios.

Recent commentary from producer Gustavo Farías has added specific stylistic speculation to the narrative. Farías, known for his work with Juan Gabriel, suggested the collaboration with Jackson Jr. could see the singer exploring funk, soul, and rhythm and blues. Describing Jackson Jr. as a ‘master of funk’ and noting that Luis Miguel is one of the most ‘funky’ artists performing in Spanish, Farías indicated the project might feature a funk-oriented sound. While no official announcement has been made regarding a new album, single, or international tour, the ongoing studio activity and potential genre shift continue to drive public anticipation.
