Patina Osaka, a luxury hotel operated by the Capella Hotel Group, has received international recognition following its May 2025 opening near Osaka Castle Park. The property was named the number one hotel in Japan in the ‘World’s Best Awards 2026’ by Travel + Leisure and ranked 33rd in ‘The 50 Best Hotels 2026’ list.

This recognition occurs amidst broader urban development in central Osaka, characterized by increased high-rise residential construction and new railway infrastructure. A new luxury hotel is also scheduled to open near a riverfront location in spring 2027.
