Puerto Rican singer Álvaro Díaz is conducting his international ‘OMAKASE’ tour, which includes a circuit of 33 cities across Latin America and the United States.

In early October 2026, the tour visited Mexico, beginning with a sold-out performance in San Luis Potosí at the Teatro de la Ciudad del Parque Tangamanga I. The tour continued to Guanajuato, where fans gathered at the Poliforum León following stops in Mérida, Guadalajara, and Monterrey.

On October 11, 2026, Díaz performed a themed concert at the Palacio de los Deportes in Mexico City. The show utilized a Japanese culinary concept, featuring the artist wearing a chef’s jacket and performing atop a kitchen-style counter. The performance served as a tribute to the late chef and storyteller Anthony Bourdain. Throughout a set including songs such as ‘SiCheff’, ‘MDF’, and ‘Problemón’, dancers and performers acted as cooks, using culinary metaphors to reflect on life. The event drew approximately 19,000 spectators.
