Lydia Dance Academy, operated by Sports & Life Innovation Co., Ltd., is expanding its class offerings across different regions in Japan.

In October, the academy announced the launch of new classes at its Tokorozawa Sakura Town location in Saitama Prefecture. Starting October 24, instructors JURI and Saki will lead various sessions, including K-POP, Girls Hip Hop, and jazz funk, for both children and adults on Saturdays. JURI, who has experience as a backup dancer for artists such as Shuka Saito and Ikimonogakari, will lead K-POP and Girls Hip Hop sessions, while Saki will specialize in freestyle, jazz funk, and waack.

Following this, the academy announced new sessions at its Shijonawate branch in Osaka, scheduled to begin on November 20. Led by instructor hinano, these Friday classes will focus on fundamentals such as stretching, balance, and rhythm through Little and Girls Hiphop sessions.

Further expansion in Osaka includes new classes in Daito City. At the Shijonawate school, instructor RURU will lead Saturday sessions starting November 21, focusing on Little and Kids Dance Introduction levels to promote the “joy of movement” for beginners. Additionally, at the Suminodo Ekimae school, instructor HONOKA—a choreographer for SOMECITY OSAKA and former backup dancer—will begin teaching Little and K-POP/Kids & General dance styles on Tuesdays starting November 17.
