Director M. Night Shyamalan and author Nicholas Sparks are collaborating on a supernatural romantic thriller titled ‘Remain’. The project, which stars Jake Gyllenhaal and Phoebe Dynevor, follows a reclusive architect who becomes involved in a deadly mystery after meeting a mysterious woman.

Following the release of the film’s teaser trailer, Shyamalan has also reflected on his professional relationship with retired actor Bruce Willis, whom he described as his ‘guardian angel’. 

Warner Bros. Pictures has scheduled the theatrical release of ‘Remain’ for February 2027.
