The 44th edition of Macfrut, an international trade fair for the fresh produce supply chain, is scheduled for April 20–22, 2027, at the Rimini Expo Centre in Italy. Organized by Cesena Fiera, the event will feature Chile as the ‘Guest Country of Honor’ (or ‘Featured Country’) and the Piedmont region as a partner. 

The 2027 fair will introduce a multi-sector agribusiness platform by integrating Macfrut with Growtech Europe, which focuses on pre-harvest technologies, and Fieravicola, which focuses on the poultry supply chain. Kiwifruit has been designated as the ‘Fruit in Focus.’ Additionally, a preview day titled ‘Macfrut N.E.X.T.’ is planned for April 19 to support industry decision-makers.
