Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has initiated plans to expand religious tourism and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh. The government is focusing on the development of major pilgrimage sites, such as the Shri Ram Raja Lok in Orchha, to revitalize historical architecture and create local employment. This strategy follows the economic model established by the Shri Mahakal Mahaloq in Ujjain.

To support these and other regional goals, the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet approved over Rs 41,000 crore for various development projects and welfare measures. This includes the Rs 29,619 crore ‘Viksit Bharat: VB-G RAM G’ scheme for rural development, as well as significant investments in road infrastructure, such as the Western Bhopal Bypass and the Mehlua-Bina-Khimlasa-Malthone road.
