A 37-year-old mathematics teacher, identified as M. F. G., has been arrested and placed in provisional custody in Madrid following allegations of sexual abuse involving between nine and twelve students aged 12 to 15. The investigation, conducted by the Family and Women’s Attention Unit (UFAM), indicates the alleged abuses occurred between 2019 and 2024 at the Mercedarias de Don Juan de Alarcón religious school and during a summer camp.

The suspect faces multiple charges, including continuous aggravated sexual assault, child prostitution, child pornography, and child grooming. Investigators believe some assaults were recorded and have seized electronic devices from his residence. Notably, the suspect had been arrested in June 2024 for a similar alleged assault at the same school but was released with precautionary measures, which allowed him to continue teaching at a different institution until his recent arrest.
