Beyond urban digitalization, the city is positioning itself as a central hub for food distribution across Sulawesi, Maluku, and Papua. Through initiatives like the Food Inflation Control and Prosperous Food Movement (GPIPS), officials are working to stabilize prices and manage inflation by strengthening production and distribution chains to mitigate climate change risks.
