Malaysia has engaged in various national and international celebrations. In Islamabad, Malaysia’s 69th National Day was marked by a ceremony attended by High Commissioner Dato Azhar bin Mazlan and Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, to discuss economic and food security collaboration. This was accompanied by the Study in Malaysia Education Fair 2026, aimed at strengthening people-to-people exchanges through higher education.

Domestically, National Sports Day was observed across the country. In Sabah, over 4,000 Royal Malaysia Police personnel participated in activities to promote physical fitness, while in Kuala Perlis, more than 500 teachers and students from the National Youth Skills Institute engaged in various sports to foster sportsmanship and health.
