Malaysian badminton players Man Wei Chong and Tee Kai Wun won the men’s doubles title at the 2026 French Open held at the Arena Grand Paris. The world No. 11 pair defeated fellow Malaysians Goh Sze Fei and Nur Izzuddin Rumsani with a score of 13-21, 21-15, 21-7.

This victory ended a 22-year drought for Malaysia at this tournament, with the previous title having been won in 2004. The win also marked the pair’s first BWF World Tour Super 750 title. Man Wei Chong attributed the performance to an ‘underdog mentality’ that helped manage pressure following his recovery from a knee injury.
