Mamiko Ohtani, wife of Los Angeles Dodgers player Shohei Ohtani, has made several public appearances during the MLB postseason. Her first notable appearance occurred during the National League Division Series opener against the Atlanta Braves, where she participated in a group photo with the ‘Dodgers wives club’ to support the team. This was noted as one of her first public outings since giving birth in June.

Following these appearances, her presence in social media posts from the ‘Dodgers Wives Club’ drew significant attention. While fan reactions were largely positive, some media reports comparing her appearance to her mother-in-law triggered online debate. Japanese personality Emiko Kaminuma commented on the controversy during a television appearance, noting a resemblance and suggesting it may reflect Shohei Ohtani’s preferences.
