The Manizales City Council unanimously approved Agreement 092 to provide tax relief for citizens affected by recent emergencies and to support reconstruction efforts. 

According to Municipal Secretary of Finance Natalia Díaz Jurado, the relief package includes exempting a 4.5% stamp tax on contingency response funds, suspending property tax payments for properties scheduled for demolition, and creating construction incentives for new housing on cleared lots. Councilman Jorge Eliécer Galeano stated the measure aims to stimulate economic and infrastructure reactivation by easing urban delineation fees and supporting affected families and the private sector.
