Spanish singer María del Monte has been promoting her new book, ‘Si el corazón se equivoca, se le perdona’.

During appearances on programs such as ‘El Hormiguero’, the artist discussed her philosophy on forgiveness, noting that she forgives to maintain her own well-being and avoid internal discomfort. She also shared insights into her intuition, family life, and the nature of celebrity gossip.

Del Monte has further addressed past media scrutiny, specifically reflecting on a 1995 controversy involving photographs published by Diez Minutos. Regarding that incident, she stated, “I didn't care, I said it at the time. I wasn't killing anyone, I wasn't attacking anyone, I was playing on the beach.” Additionally, she spoke on her identity and personal freedom, rejecting the concept of being “out of the closet” by stating that she has never hidden herself or others in her environment.
