The Marche Region Council has approved a three-year public works plan for 2026-2028, encompassing 66 interventions with a total programmed value of nearly 340 million euros.

A significant portion of the investment, exceeding 75 million euros, is allocated to the Fermo area. This includes two strategic road connection projects scheduled to go to tender by the end of 2027: a 24 million euro link between Lungotenna and the A14 motorway junction in Porto Sant’Elpidio, and a 47 million euro link between the SS77 Val di Chienti and Sant’Elpidio a Mare. 

Regional officials stated these infrastructures are intended to improve daily mobility, accessibility, and the functionality of the regional road network for both citizens and businesses.
