The third and final season of the Argentine series ‘Margarita’, a spin-off of ‘Floricienta’, premiered on HBO Max. The season's debut sparked social media debate due to a monologue by the character Delfina regarding social injustice and political leadership, which some viewers linked to Argentine President Javier Milei.

As the season progresses toward its conclusion, the narrative focuses on the origins of characters Margarita, Fach, and Andrés, alongside the political outcome of a revolution in Krikoragán.

Days before the scheduled September 21 release, HBO Max accidentally leaked the 46-minute series finale in the United States. The leak led to widespread circulation on social media and significant backlash from fans. Critics have expressed dissatisfaction with unresolved plotlines and the absence of actress Florencia Bertotti, comparing the conclusion unfavorably to the predecessor ‘Floricienta’.

Amidst the finale controversy, Argentine host Mario Pergolini expressed his personal fandom for the series on his program ‘Otro Día Perdido’, demonstrating a detailed knowledge of the plot and musical components.
