A verbal conflict has intensified between veteran MMA fighter Marian Ziółkowski and undefeated fighter Igor Włodarczyk following the KSW 122 event. The dispute originated after Włodarczyk issued fight challenges to Ziółkowski and Mateusz Makarowski during a post-fight interview.

Ziółkowski criticized the manner in which Włodarczyk transitioned from mourning a deceased friend to discussing business and sporting challenges, suggesting the behavior felt artificial. Włodarczyk responded by accusing the veteran of exploiting a personal tragedy for attention and stated he would no longer shake Ziółkowski’s hand.

In subsequent communications, Ziółkowski accused Włodarczyk of manipulation, clarifying that his criticism was directed at the conduct of the interview rather than the tragedy itself. Włodarczyk has addressed these claims on social media, suggesting Ziółkowski misanalyzed his statements.
