Mexican actress Mariana Treviño has denied allegations of physical assault against a wardrobe staff member during a performance of the musical ‘Mentiras All Stars’ in Inglewood, California. The controversy stemmed from a viral video showing a tense moment during a rapid costume change.

Producer Alejandro Gou clarified that the footage captured a logistical mishap rather than an assault, explaining that Treviño threw a wig in frustration during a quick change. Treviño addressed the rumors on social media, stating, “I would never disrespect someone from the crew, never; how would I ever think of raising my hand to them, nor would they to us.”

Treviño also noted that the chaotic nature of the costume change was exacerbated by staffing shortages resulting from visa processing issues for the regular crew during the international tour. She has dismissed claims regarding her departure from the production and confirmed her continued participation in the musical.
