Several maritime search and rescue operations involving missing fishermen have occurred across Southeast Asian and Pacific waters.

In Indonesia, a search for 53-year-old Abdul Rachman concluded after his body was discovered near Wamlana Village. Separately, 31-year-old Rahmad Labada, a crew member of the KM El Malika, was found safe on Peleliu Island in Palau after being missing for 13 days. He was subsequently repatriated to Indonesia.

In Malaysia, search operations for 32-year-old Sabrie Rusli, who went missing after his boat capsized near Pulau Tenggol, were terminated. Despite extensive searches covering approximately 801 square nautical miles using sonar, diving teams, and Remote Operated Vehicles, no traces of the fisherman were located.
