Maintenance work has commenced on the Maritsa Motorway in the Haskovo region. The Road Infrastructure Agency announced that repairs to expansion joints will be conducted on an agricultural overpass near kilometer 109 and on the bridge over the Kalamitsa River near kilometer 110.

These repairs, carried out by Infra Expert AD, affect lanes heading toward the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing. To facilitate the work, traffic will be phased through the free lane with periodic restrictions on active and overtaking lanes. Drivers are advised to adhere to a 50 km/h speed limit. Once work in the direction of the border is finished, repairs are planned for the joints in the direction of Haskovo, with completion expected within the current construction season.
