The Maritsa women’s volleyball club has commenced preparations for the 2026-2027 season.

Following the announcement that the club signed Serbian player Ana Pejicic, the team held its first official training session. Pejicic, a middle blocker and diagonal with international experience in Serbia, Switzerland, Greece, and Turkey, began training alongside Elena Becheva. 

Other squad members are expected to join training at a later date due to commitments with the Bulgarian national teams for European Championship and U20 European qualifying matches. The coaching staff is led by head coach Daniele Turino.
