Markus “Notch” Persson, the creator of Minecraft, has listed his 22,300-square-foot estate in the Trousdale Estates area of Beverly Hills for $70 million. This asking price is equivalent to the amount Persson paid for the property in 2014. 

The luxury residence includes eight bedrooms, 15 bathrooms, two swimming pools, a cinema, and a wine cellar. Persson has also invested in various high-end upgrades, such as a recording studio, a private nightclub with a DJ booth, and a $200,000 candy room. 

According to his listing agent, Persson is selling the home because he does not spend significant time in Los Angeles. While general real estate prices in Los Angeles have increased over the last twelve years, the ultra-luxury market has seen a cooling trend.
