South Korean actors Ha Jung-woo and Cha Jung-won have announced they will marry on December 13 at a hotel in Seoul. The couple, who have been in a relationship for approximately six years, officially acknowledged their romance in February following previous dating rumors.

The announcement has drawn significant public attention due to complex family dynamics involving Ha Jung-woo’s father, actor Kim Yong-gun. Because Kim Yong-gun welcomed a son in 2021, Cha Jung-won will become a sister-in-law to a five-year-old child. Additionally, the marriage creates unique age dynamics within the family hierarchy, as Ha Jung-woo’s brother is married to actress Hwang Bo-ra, who is older than Cha Jung-won but will hold a junior position in the family structure.
