Following comments from Rafael Cardozo regarding his former partner Carol Reali (known as Cachaza), Reali and Brazilian actor André Bankoff officially married in a civil ceremony in São Paulo on September 5. 

Reali and Bankoff, who have been in a relationship for over three years, held an intimate ceremony attended by close friends and family. Reali, who is currently in an advanced stage of pregnancy, wore a white strapless dress. The couple shared moments of the ceremony, including the exchange of rings and the signing of the marriage certificate, via social media, followed by a celebration featuring a traditional cake cutting. Bankoff shared his gratitude on social media, describing Reali as a gift and noting that their family is forming.

On September 20, during a broadcast of the reality program ‘Esto es Guerra’, model Rafael Cardozo addressed Reali following a lost bet. Reflecting on their nearly 11-year relationship, Cardozo stated, “I don’t have any criticism to make during these 10 years. People think it didn't work; I think it worked for 10 years.” While noting they had not communicated, he wished her the best and concluded by telling her, “Be happy.”

Media personality Karla Tarazona subsequently commented on the situation, questioning Cardozo's perspective on the marriage and motherhood in light of how long it took him to commit during their own relationship.
