Developments: 3. Dotemu and Tribute Games announced ‘The Siege of Castle Doom’, a premium DLC expansion for the arcade-style beat ‘em up game ‘Marvel Cosmic Invasion’. The expansion is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026, across PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Following the initial announcement at New York Comic Con, new gameplay footage was revealed showcasing the combat styles of the two new playable characters: Susan Storm (Invisible Woman) and Victor Von Doom (Doctor Doom). The footage highlights Susan Storm’s light manipulation and force field powers, alongside Doctor Doom’s use of technology and occult abilities. Both characters can utilize the ‘Cosmic Swap’ mechanic to switch heroes mid-battle. The DLC also includes an exclusive new game mode titled ‘The Siege of Castle Doom’ set in Doctor Doom’s fortress. This expansion continues the game's central conflict, where heroes must defend the galaxy against the Annihilation Wave led by Annihilus, alongside villains such as Thanos and M.O.D.O.K. Further details reveal that the new mode is a run-based experience where players must prevent Victor von Doom from activating the ‘Cosmic Inductor’, a weapon capable of destroying the cosmos. This mode introduces a ‘Siege Gauge’ that increases enemy power and a ‘Stabilizer’ tool created by Reed Richards. Players can collect Battery Cells and complete challenges to earn one of 12 unique perks categorized by attack, defense, or tactical upgrades. Successful runs allow for the permanent unlocking of equipment and events from ‘Reed’s Lab’. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-26: Marvel Cosmic Invasion: The Siege of Castle Doom DLC details revealed The upcoming MARVEL Cosmic Invasion DLC, ‘The Siege of Castle Doom’, introduces a new roguelite game mode and playable characters arriving November 10, 2026, for multiple platforms. 15 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/dotemu-and-tribute-games-reveal-marvel-cosmic-invasion-dlc ### 2026-10-14: Marvel Cosmic Invasion announces new DLC with Doctor Doom and Invisible Woman Marvel Cosmic Invasion will receive a premium DLC expansion on November 10, adding Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman to the roster alongside a new game mode. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/marvel-cosmic-invasion-reveals-invisible-woman-and-doctor-doom-dlc ### 2026-10-08: Marvel Cosmic Invasion DLC announced with Doctor Doom and Invisible Woman Dotemu and Tribute Games announced that the ‘Marvel Cosmic Invasion’ DLC, ‘The Siege of Castle Doom’, will release on November 10, 2026, adding Doctor Doom and the Invisible Woman to the roster. 6 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/marvel-cosmic-invasion-expansion-to-add-doctor-doom-and-invisible-woman --- Cite as: Marvel Cosmic Invasion DLC announcement.
