Journalist Massimo Giletti has advocated for more courageous investigations into Italian mysteries, describing Italy as a “country of mysteries” during an event in Naples. He emphasized the necessity of uncovering truths in high-profile cases, such as the Ranucci case and developments regarding the death of David Rossi, noting that many major tragedies lack concrete findings regarding those responsible.

Giletti has returned to the public broadcaster Rai to host the investigative program ‘Lo Stato delle Cose’ on Rai 3. The program explores social complexities, including political activism, protests, and organized crime. Specific investigative topics include the intersection of politics and the mafia within Sicilian hospitals and cleaning companies, as well as potential reviews of convictions in the Garlasco murder case.
