In Argentina, comedian Pachu Peña inadvertently revealed his early exit from the Telefe competition during an interview with the program LAM. While discussing his professional schedule for October, Peña confirmed a theatrical tour in Spain alongside José María Listorti and Sebastián Almada, suggesting his departure from the culinary competition shortly after its premiere. Following this, sports journalist Morena Beltrán was eliminated during the third elimination gala. Beltrán failed to impress judges Germán Martitegui, Damián Betular, and Maru Botana with a tripe milanesa and mashed potatoes, performing inferiorly to fellow contestant Julieta Nair Calvo. The challenge required contestants to prepare dishes using precooked tripe within sixty minutes. The episode also drew social media scrutiny toward judge Maru Botana, with viewers accusing her of “simulating the tasting” of a dish of tripe empanadas prepared by comedian Campi. Botana addressed these criticisms in an interview, defending her professional expertise and noting that her thirty years of culinary experience allow her to evaluate quality despite consuming very small portions, describing herself as eating “como un pajarito” (like a little bird). Additionally, contestant Edith Hermida had an emotional reaction, being moved to tears while preparing a traditional tripe stew that reminded her of her childhood. Former judge Donato de Santis has since spoken in support of Botana, emphasizing that every professional has a unique style and that “everyone moves according to how they feel.” The program continues to maintain high viewership, with recent gala ratings reaching 11.3 points. In the Spanish edition, MasterChef Celebrity Legends, actress Anabel Alonso was eliminated following a Thai-inspired fusion sushi challenge. ## Claims - The outdoor challenge took place at Parque Lineal del Manzanares in Madrid.
