The Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso do Sul (ALEMS) has been processing various legislative projects, including the granting of public utility status to several organizations. 

In mid-August, a bill was introduced to declare the Association of Brigadistas of Fátima do Sul (ABRIFS) a state public utility entity. By late August, the assembly had advanced other bills, including Bill 109/2026 for the Associação de Jovens Amigos da Natureza (AJAN) and Bill 107/2026 for the Associação de Moradores do Conjunto Coopharádio (AMCOORA). 

Additionally, the Constitution, Justice, and Redaction Commission (CCJR) reviewed Bill 110/2026, a proposal from the Public Ministry of Mato Grosso do Sul (MPMS) to create new juridical and IT advisor positions and expand roles within the agency.
