Matsukawa Town has engaged in various community-focused activities to celebrate its history and support local development. The town hosted a special exhibition at the Matsukawa Town Museum titled ‘70 Years of Matsukawa Town in Photos’ to commemorate its 70th anniversary, showcasing historical photographic records from its formation through municipal mergers in the 1950s.

Building on local engagement, the town announced its inaugural ‘Job Discovery Fest 2026: Oshigoto Marche.’ Scheduled for November 8 at the Machi Chuo Kominkan Emiria, the festival aims to connect local companies with potential employees from both within and outside the town to promote regional employment opportunities.
